Egoditor (now Bit.ly Europe) was looking for a quicker and more efficient way to leverage its market position.
They chose Zeile7 — an expert in end2end digitalisation and software engineering — to shift to a lean & nimble tech platform. The goals were efficiency and higher throughput.
After modernising the tech infrastructure, Zeile7 and Egoditor (now Bitly) was eager to follow suit with the product. We wanted to improve the client experience and client centricity of the internal processes. We already knew a lot about what users wanted, how they used the existing services, so we wanted to introduce new elements and increase the stickiness of Bitly’s services.
We improved performance multifold, enabled the takeover and in-sourcing of the bought products from multiple previously separate channels.
We eliminated some of the hurdles experiences by the users.
Together, these changes made scale possible and – soon – a reality.
